What WorKey is

WorKey is the ComfortService project devoted to the people and services around a venue. Management software organises the work inside the business; WorKey deals with what has to come from outside: who works one evening, who repairs the cold room, who delivers the bread tomorrow morning. It comes from something we see constantly while working with restaurants and hotels: software solves the internal organisation, but the uncovered Saturday shift still gets filled with three phone calls from memory, and a new supplier is found by asking a colleague. It is the most expensive and least supported part of the job.

Who it is for

For venues looking for reliable staff and suppliers without starting from word of mouth every time. And for the other side: people working in the sector who want to be found by those who need their skills.

What it does

It connects the two sides that today look for each other by phone and find each other by luck.

Where we are: in preparation

WorKey is not open yet. It is the earliest-stage project we are building, and we would rather say so plainly than collect sign-ups for something that does not exist. Concretely that means: you cannot use it today, there is no waiting list that guarantees you anything, and we have no date. What there is, is the stage where what gets built is still being decided — and that is the stage where a piece of feedback counts for more than it ever will later. If you work in the sector and you have this problem, now is a good moment to tell us about it.

How it connects to the rest

WorKey grows out of data our products already handle: uncovered shifts, recurring suppliers, requested services. For anyone already using ComforTables or ComfortRooms, the connection will be direct.

How to stay posted

Write to us saying whether you are interested as a venue or as a professional, and above all how you solve the problem today: who you call when someone is missing, how you found your last supplier, what went wrong the last time. We will let you know when it opens, and in the meantime those answers go into the product.
